Torrentio goes away for a day
r/StremioAddons goes bananas
Roughly 2 days ago, torrentio's hosting provider blocked them due to complaints, and the developer set off to source a new VPS provider.
In the interim, r/StremioAddons was a mass of "is torrentio down?" posts, followed by lots of posts about alternative addons, primarily MediaFusion or Comet.
Popular alternative addons also started struggling under the increased load, but ElfHosted were quick to add hardware and provide options.
Torrentio was restored to service about 32h later (in time for weekend binging!), with ElfHosted posting a summary of the updates/improvements to their public addons, with some community discussion about whether to keep "backup addons" installed, or remove them for "efficiency".
